Born in London in January 1965, P.A. McCree attended a state comprehensive school before joining the British Army with the Royal Corps of Transport from 1985 to 1988. After leaving the military, he built a career as an HGV truck driver a profession that would later inform the atmospheric landscapes and journeys woven throughout his fiction. In 2025, following a period of illness, McCree made the decision to pursue writing and self-publish The Hidden Road series, bringing years of storytelling to readers who seek tales steeped in mystery and the uncanny.Today, P.A.
